Get a Free Heat Pump in Tokoroa
A new Warm Homes Clean Air programme called "On the House", has been announced. This programme is dedicated to clearing the air in Tokoroa, by giving Free heat pumps to homeowners who replace non-compliant open fires or woodburners.
On the House will top up the 80% heat pump subsidy* provided under the Warmer Kiwi Homes programme (capped at $3000) to fully cover the cost of heat pump installation plus also the removal costs for the non-compliant fireplace or wood burner.
This additional funding is provided by the Waikato Regional Council, locally supervised by South Waikato District Council (SWDC) and delivered exclusively by Brightr. Find out more about the On the House initiative. Eligibility, Terms and Conditions apply.
