Subsidies now available to more New Zealand homes

Now the path to cozier, energy-efficient homes just got even wider! We're excited to announce that the Warmer Kiwi Homes insulation subsidies have been extended, providing accessibility to over 50,000 more Kiwi homes across the nation.

What has changed?

As temperatures drop and chilly days approach, the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA) is stepping up to ensure that even more homes stay warm and comfortable. The latest extension of insulation grants means that more homeowners would qualify for the subsidies and will now be able to experience the benefits of a warm living environment and lower energy bills.

Who's eligible?

If you own and live in a house built before 2008, and live in a lower-income area or have a Community Services Card, you may be eligible for the Warmer Kiwi Homes insulation or/and heating subsidies.
