Breaking News: The subsidy has gone up!
90% Insulation grants are now available in Dep Zones 9 and 10 regions
Now the path to cozier, energy-efficient homes just got even more possible with increased subsidies! We're excited to announce that the Warmer Kiwi Homes insulation subsidies for homes in deprivation zones 9 and 10 have been increased to 90%.
What has changed?
As temperatures drop and chilly days approach, the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA) is stepping up to ensure that even more homes stay warm and comfortable. The latest extension of insulation grants means that homeowners in deprivation zones 9 and 10 will now be able to enjoy 90% subsidies to fully insulate their home.
Who's eligible?
If you own and live in a house built before 2008, and live in a lower-income area or have a Community Services Card, you may be eligible for the Warmer Kiwi Homes insulation or/and heating subsidies.
